Geneva, 23 July 2025 – The RSB Transition Leaders’ Awards 2025, sponsored by Airbus, are now officially open for nominations — calling on individuals, organisations, and projects from around the world to step forward and be recognised for their role in advancing a sustainable bioeconomy.

The RSB Transition Leaders’ Awards celebrate transformational leadership that is already accelerating the just transition — across fuels, materials, procurement, innovation, and community impact. This year’s Awards build on the success of the 2024 pilot edition and will spotlight six award winners, selected through a robust process of independent shortlisting and member-wide voting, grounded in RSB’s trusted multi-stakeholder governance model.

The Awards are open to:

  • Companies, researchers, and start-ups pioneering new bio-based solutions
  • Civil society actors advancing equity, justice, and environmental impact
  • Brands and buyers shifting markets through responsible sourcing
  • Individuals driving systemic change in their communities or industries
