Toyo Tire has expanded the size line-up of the Observe W/TR studless SUV tire, and will launch the new sizes across Japan in September 2025.
SUVs remain popular across Japan, with SUV sales in the country remaining strong. Vehicle types and uses have also become increasingly diverse in recent years, Toyo says, with a growing number of drivers also cusotomizing their vehicles for outdoor and leisure purposes.
The Observe W/TR studless tire enables high performance in deep snow and rough, icy roads, with large side blocks that are used in Toyo’s off-road tires.
The company says it is expanding the line-up to meet the needs of users who customize their vehicles even when changing to winter tires.
