WASHINGTON, D.C., December 17, 2025 — +Vantage Vinyl
, the sustainability initiative for the vinyl industry, is inviting stakeholders and the public to provide feedback on Version 4.1 of its sustainability standard. This update follows the successful release of Version 4.0 during Vinyl Week’s Sustainability Summit.
Version 4.1 introduces an important change: opening participation to non-members. This adjustment reflects the Vinyl Sustainability Council’s commitment to inclusivity and broader industry engagement. The only amendments in this update involve language changes throughout the standard around making it is inclusive to non-member participants and reflecting this expanded access (ex-replacing “Member” with “Participant”).
The public comment period will focus exclusively on these red lined language changes. No other revisions to the standard or Guiding Principles will be considered during this review.
