Accelerated biodegradation of polyurethanes through embedded cutinases

Cutinases were successfully incorporated into thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) by melt extrusion (150–200 °C). Resulting biocomposite TPU demonstrated enhanced biodegradability, opening new possibilities for effective end-of-life PU waste management.
