Sidel to debut its EvoBlow Laser, at Drinktec 2025, Sept. 15-19 at Munich Trade Fair Centre, Germany.
According to Pietro Cassani, Sidel president and CEO, EvoBlow Laser is the “world’s first industrialized laser-powered solution.”
One advantage of laser-based technology is its inherent precision. This accuracy enables lighter and stronger containers.
The EvoBLOW Laser utilizes up to 36 heating lines. This provides a new level of control over the material’s thickness all along the container and enables lightweighting of premium bottles, thanks to the creation of small rings of thicker material. According to Sidel, these rings are invisible to the consumer and make the bottle feel and act stronger, while using less material overall. They are intended to replace conventional ‘geometrical ribs.’
