Apparently, many congressional Republicans are concerned about Trump’s talk tonight, as it will center around the “stolen” election of 2020; they say it focuses too much on the past, and not enough on today’s “kitchen table issues,” e.g., the economy, healthcare, the war, etc.
This is a gross and laughable mischaracterization of Republicans’ true concerns, which is the continued erosion of Trump’s credibility and the clear deterioration of his mental health. Six years later there is still not a shred of evidence of significant voter fraud, and the subject has been rejected by 60+ courts and dozens of state election officials.
Trump will come off as a liar and crackpot, which is exactly what he is, though this isn’t a good look for the GOP going into the midterms.
