Navee UT5 Ultra X First Look

Navee’s flagship “SuperScooter” pairs dual motors and a claimed 43 mph top speed with a supercar look, and yes, you still stand on it.

First, the thing that trips people up. The UT5 Ultra X is not the Navee NT5 Ultra X we already reviewed. The names are one letter apart, but these are two different scooters. The UT5 Ultra X is the $2,499.99 flagship at the top of Navee’s US lineup. The NT5 Ultra X is the $1,899.99 model a rung below it. Despite the “UT” in the name, the UT5 is a standing scooter, not a seated one. We got our first look at Navee’s dual-motor flagship, so here is what stands out before we run it through our full test. UT5 Ultra X overview: what’s new

Navee has spent the last year filling out its US range, and the UT5 Ultra X is the halo car on top of it. It is a supercar-styled, dual-motor standing scooter that Navee calls a “SuperScooter,” and it earned a Best of CES 2026 nod from AndroidHeadlines. Above it sits nothing else in the Navee scooter lineup. Below it you get the NT5 Ultra X, then the UT5 Max, XT5 Pro, and a stack of cheaper models. The pitch is simple: take everything Navee knows and put it in one flagship, from dual hydraulic suspension to Apple Find My tracking.

The headline hardware is the twin motor setup you can flip between one-wheel and two-wheel drive, a big 1,284Wh battery, and full hydraulic disc brakes at both ends. It runs a 5-inch LED display, turn signals, traction control, and app-based auto-unlock over Bluetooth. Everything below is manufacturer-claimed unless we say otherwise, and we have not put this scooter on our scale or through our range loop yet.

Claimed specs and price

The UT5 Ultra X lists at $2,499.99. Navee ran a $200-off sale earlier in the summer, but that has ended, so treat the sticker as the current price and check availability before you order, since some configurations sell out. Here is the full claimed spec sheet.

Motor and performance

Power is the whole point here. Each motor is rated at 1,200W and peaks at 2,400W, so with both running you get up to 4,800W. You can switch between one-wheel and two-wheel drive to trade range for grip and grunt. Navee claims a 43 mph top speed and a 1.8-second sprint from 0 to 12 mph, plus a 46% climb grade. Freshly Charged GPS-verified 42.9 mph in testing, which is about as close to a claim as you will see hold up in the real world.

Handling gets the flagship treatment too. There is dual hydraulic suspension with an adjustable rear, front and rear hydraulic disc brakes with 130mm rotors and EABS backup, 12-inch self-healing tubeless tires, and traction control. New Atlas came away impressed with the stability, calling the UT5 Ultra X “stable as a gable,” though the same review flagged stiff suspension and a weak horn. Tom’s Guide was positive on it overall. We will confirm the ride feel and braking once we get a unit on our own routes.

Battery and claimed range

The UT5 Ultra X carries a 60V 22.3Ah pack, which works out to 1,284Wh. Navee claims up to 74.6 miles at a steady 9.3 mph, or 37.3 miles at a quicker 24.9 mph. As always with scooters, the low-speed figure is the marketing number and your real range at speed will land closer to that second figure or below it. Freshly Charged called the 22.3Ah pack modest for a scooter at this price, and framed the UT5 Ultra X as an alternative to the Kaabo Mantis. Charge time depends on the charger. Plan on roughly six hours on the standard brick, with the optional fast charger cutting that down. We will log our own tested range and charge times later.

UT5 Ultra X vs NT5 Ultra X

This is the comparison most shoppers actually want, because the names are so close. To be clear, these are two separate models. The UT5 Ultra X is the $2,499.99 flagship. The NT5 Ultra X is the $1,899.99 model one step down. The $600 gap buys you the flagship dual-motor hardware, the bigger battery, and the full suspension and brake package on the UT5. Who should buy it

First-look verdict

On first look, the Navee UT5 Ultra X reads like a proper flagship. The dual-motor drive, hydraulic brakes and suspension, and a claimed 43 mph top speed that Freshly Charged nearly matched on GPS all point to a serious performance scooter, and early reviews from New Atlas and Tom’s Guide lean positive. The catches are the price, the 90.4-pound weight, and a battery a couple of outlets called modest for the money. Just do not confuse it with the cheaper NT5 Ultra X. We will update this review with full tested range, speed, and braking numbers once we get a unit in.
