Heybike Becomes Official E-Bike Partner
of the San Antonio Spurs
Heybike’s first NBA deal gives Spurs fans 20% off through September 30. A bike giveaway follows during the 2026-27 season.
Heybike is making a bigger push into the mainstream sports world, announcing a new partnership with the San Antonio Spurs as the team’s official e-bike partner.
It’s Heybike’s first partnership with an NBA team, and it comes with a pretty straightforward perk for Spurs fans: 20% off purchases through Heybike’s website through September 30, 2026, with full details available through the Spurs newsletter.
If you’re shopping Heybike, it’s also worth trying code RIDERGUIDE at checkout to see if any additional discount is available on your purchase. Promotions and stacking eligibility can vary, but it’s always worth checking before you buy.
The two brands are also planning a Heybike giveaway during the 2026-27 NBA season, giving Spurs fans a chance to take home an e-bike of their own.
Why Heybike Keeps Showing Up in Our Testing
For Heybike, the Spurs partnership is another sign of how quickly the brand has been growing in the U.S. Over the past year in particular, Heybike has also become one of the fastest-growing e-bike brands we work with at RiderGuide, both in terms of the number of new products coming through and the range of categories the company is competing in.
And it isn’t just pumping out variations of the same bike.
One model that’s been especially popular with RiderGuide readers is the Heybike Ranger 3.0 Pro. It stands out in the folding e-bike category by offering full suspension, something that’s still relatively rare among folders at its price point. Add in a torque sensor, hydraulic brakes and a strong claimed range, and it’s a good example of how Heybike has been pushing features traditionally associated with more expensive bikes into relatively accessible models.
At the other end of the spectrum, our recent testing of the Heybike Saturn showed just how aggressive the brand has become when it comes to range and value. We managed 51.5 miles of real-world range from the dual-battery Saturn while riding it hard in the highest assist mode, despite the bike packing a 1,000W motor, full suspension and 20-inch fat tires.
That increasingly broad lineup is one reason Heybike has become a much more prominent brand in our coverage than it was just a couple of years ago. The company now competes across folding bikes, commuters, fat-tire bikes and full-suspension models, while bikes like the Heybike Villain push the brand further into the higher-performance end of the electric bike market.
Heybike’s Spurs Partnership Makes a Lot of Sense
The Spurs deal is interesting beyond just putting a Heybike logo somewhere inside an NBA arena.
Heybike says it now has a network of more than 500 local dealers, and while the company is based in China, its North American headquarters are in Texas. Partnering with one of the state’s most recognizable professional sports franchises is a pretty natural way to introduce the brand to a much larger audience outside the usual e-bike enthusiast crowd.

August 4, 2026, San Antonio, TX: Spurs SVP of Global Partnerships Brian Colbert and Heybike COO Yifan Li pose for a photo to celebrate the new partnership between Spurs Sports & Entertainment and Heybike at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
“Partnering with the San Antonio Spurs is a historic milestone for Heybike,” Heybike founder Jason Fang said in announcing the partnership. “We believe an e-bike is more than just transportation, it is a bridge that brings generations together.”
The Spurs are approaching the partnership from a similar mobility-and-community angle, with Spurs Sports & Entertainment Chief Commercial Officer Frank Miceli pointing to the shared idea of using both sports and mobility to help people connect with their communities.
That messaging is nice, but what we find more interesting is simply seeing electric mobility brands starting to show up alongside major mainstream sports organizations.
E-bikes and electric scooters have spent years moving from niche products toward legitimate everyday transportation, and partnerships like this are another indication of how much more mainstream the category is becoming.
We’ve seen similar crossover happen in other industries as they grow. Once brands start appearing alongside nationally recognized sports teams and other major consumer organizations, they’re reaching an audience well beyond the enthusiasts who already know every motor wattage, battery size and drivetrain option.
For a company like Heybike, which has expanded rapidly across several corners of the e-bike market, that kind of broader exposure makes sense.
And from our perspective, it’s just cool to see.
Electric mobility is still a relatively young industry, and seeing an e-bike company become the official e-bike partner of an NBA franchise as recognizable as the San Antonio Spurs is another small step toward these products simply becoming part of the normal transportation and recreation landscape.
