United Solar has welcomed the US government’s new measures aimed at strengthening the domestic polysilicon industry, which include a minimum import price and additional duties on polysilicon derivatives. These initiatives, effective from December 4, 2026, aim to enhance supply chain resilience, promote domestic manufacturing, and ensure traceability in sourcing.
