By Tracy Snider, ASA Executive Director of Industry & State Relations
While some days on the farm are spent solo with large machines, computers, and a ton of time on the phone, agriculture has never been a business of isolation. The work at the American Soybean Association and our soybean farmers’ success is connected to a much larger network every day! From the people and technology needed to develop traits for seed and crop protection products to equipment manufacturers, agronomists, cooperatives, commodity buyers, technology companies, and researchers, industry partnerships matter.
At ASA, our industry partners provide more than financial support. They bring knowledge, technology, market

insight, and perspectives that help us better understand the challenges and opportunities facing soybean farmers. Just as important, these relationships give the industry a stronger connection to the farmers at the center of the agricultural value chain.
Our newest and returning partners represent just how broad that connection can be.
Field Logic Agronomy joined this year as an Innovation to Market (I2M) JumpStart Corporate member, which is a level of membership specifically designed for start-ups. They bring a boots-on-the- ground agronomic perspective, and Jacob Kibbons joined us at Farmer Forum to speak this August. Meristem represents innovation in crop inputs and biological solutions. They joined ASA as a SoyPAC sponsor and new partner in FY26. New donor CLAAS connects the industry to advanced equipment and harvesting technology, and Atticus brings expertise from the crop protection sector. Louis Dreyfus Company offers a global perspective on agricultural markets and the movement of commodities from the farm to customers around the world.
ASA is also pleased to welcome the NSF ND AgriTech Incubator, which represents the next generation of agricultural innovation and the entrepreneurs working to solve tomorrow’s challenges. The NSF ND AgriTech Incubator joined I2M this year.
CHS is a returning industry partner, reminding us that strong relationships can evolve over time. A returning partner is an opportunity to build on an existing relationship, find new areas of common ground, and continue the conversation about where soy is headed among industry and farmer leaders alike.
While each of these organizations are different, their call to join ASA is the same – and that’s the point! Industry partners join ASA to work with our farmer leadership and stay in-the-know.
The soybean industry is influenced by many different forces, and no single company or organization has all the answers. Bringing diverse perspectives to the table helps ASA better understand what is happening across agriculture and identify opportunities to collaborate.
For soybean farmers, the value of these partnerships is ultimately about connection. It is about making sure the farmer’s voice is part of conversations about technology, markets, innovation, and the future of agriculture and making sure ASA understands the perspectives of the businesses and innovators working throughout the value chain.
Industry partnerships are not simply about putting another logo on a page. They are about building relationships that make the soybean industry stronger, more connected, and better prepared for what comes next.
