Pirelli has launched the third-generation of the Scorpion Winter 3 SUV tire, completing the renewal of its winter tire range.
The new tire features a dedicated internal structure and tread pattern to accommodate SUV’s greater weight and higher center of gravity. It was developed using virtual tools and driving simulators, with final testing carried out at Pirelli’s Sottozero Center in Lapland.
The tire has been designed to deliver balanced performance across a range of winter conditions, including snow, wet roads and dry surfaces. According to Pirelli, the tire has also performed well in its first independent test, where it was ranked ahead of competing tires.
