Date:

Researchers developed machine-knitted magnetoactive textiles that combine wireless charging, biomechanical sensing, and tactile feedback in a single textile transducer using a soft magnetic fiber and knitted electromagnetic coils. The system charged a 7.4 V battery, detected motion signals up to 3,000 Hz, produced haptic forces up to 4.2 mN, and was demonstrated in choker, glove, and sleeve prototypes.
