Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) has expanded its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Khavda, Gujarat, to 6.63 GWh, making it the largest operational system globally. AGEL now holds over 50% of India’s BESS capacity. The installation supports renewable energy integration and aims for further growth, targeting over 10 GWh by FY2026-27.
