As we close out the second quarter of 2025, Aeroseal continues to deliver significant advancements in high-performance building solutions. From eliminating hidden air leaks and reducing utility bills to enhancing indoor air quality (IAQ) and cutting construction costs, our proven duct and envelope sealing solutions drive efficiency, health, and savings for builders and contractors.

This quarter, Aeroseal gained national recognition, contributed to innovative housing developments, and expanded our industry presence. Here’s a recap from the Aeroseal 2025 Q2 Review.

Driving Industry Engagement

Builder Innovator Summit – Orlando, FLChad Gillespie, Sales Director, Mid-Atlantic Region, joined an expert panel alongside Cody Kaufman (Resideo), Roger Gregg (Johns Manville), and Jeff Klonowski (Delta Electronics). Moderated by Tim Costello from Builder Innovator, the panel focused on evolving building codes, indoor air quality, and the growing demand for performance-based construction.

Attendees saw firsthand how Aeroseal’s proven air sealing solutions contribute to healthier indoor environments, reduce callbacks, and shorten construction timelines. These results help builders meet strict airtightness verification standards while staying on schedule.

American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2025 Conference – Boston, MAAt Booth #1822, our team connected with architects and engineers from across the country. Aeroseal Sr. Business Development Manager Bill Shadid and National Sales Rep Ryan Snyder shared how Aeroseal envelope sealing solutions help meet airtightness goals, reduce labor and material costs, and streamline the build process. We’re grateful for the engaging conversations and shared vision for smarter, better buildings.

Building Better Communities

1,500 NetZero Homes – Denver, COAeroseal’s AeroBarrier has been selected by one of the nation’s top five homebuilders for a 1,500-home development built to NetZero Energy Ready standards. When projects require tight specs and performance verification, AeroBarrier delivers in less time and with greater consistency.

Hillandale Gateway – Mid-Atlantic RegionWe’re proud to be the selected envelope solution for 100 percent of the Hillandale Gateway build. This is the largest Passive House multifamily project in the Mid-Atlantic and a strong signal that Aeroseal can scale airtightness in even the most complex residential environments.

This Old House – North CarolinaAfter Hurricane Helene, climate scientist Paula and her daughter, Olivia, began rebuilding their home. Aeroseal joined forces with contractor Jamie Dose and This Old House to create a healthier, more resilient, and energy-efficient living space. Special thanks to Abe Somers, Caleb Severance, and the entire crew for their care and professionalism.

Veterans Villages Groundbreaking – Eagan, MNIn partnership with MACV and the Housing First Minnesota Foundation, Aeroseal participated in the groundbreaking for Veterans Villages. This project brings healthier housing options to those who have served. It’s an honor to contribute to work that gives back to those who gave so much.

Aeroseal in the Spotlight

Green Building & Design MagazineA recent feature explored how Aeroseal enables real-time performance improvements. Architect Lindsay Schack shared how AeroBarrier supports Passive House standards, and CEO Amit Gupta reminded readers that we don’t have to wait 10 years to fix our buildings. We can start making them healthier and more energy efficient today.

Multi-Housing NewsUp to 30 percent of conditioned air in multifamily buildings is lost through duct leaks hidden behind walls and ceilings. Aeroseal’s inside-out duct sealing method addresses this problem without demolition, downtime, or disruption. The result is energy savings for owners and better comfort for tenants.

IWBI Feature – Healthier Homes in IllinoisAs part of Illinois’s Healthy Homes initiative, Aeroseal partnered with Nicor Gas, Blue Cross Blue Shield, asthma advocates, and local contractors to reduce indoor air pollutants through targeted duct sealing. Contractor Joe St. Pierre praised the solution’s fast installation, minimal disruption, and immediate IAQ improvements.

Green Disruptor PodcastResidential Codes and Regulatory Affairs Manager Ross MacPherson joined host Megan to explore how changing how we build, not how we live, can fight climate change. From sealing ductwork in over 90 countries to improving building performance without behavior change, the message was clear. Progress doesn’t have to mean sacrifice.

Sean White’s Solar & Energy Storage PodcastJarrod Scott shared insights on jobsite efficiency, reduced air leakage rates, and how Aeroseal’s compact equipment saves time and money during the construction phase.
