The Association of Independent Corrugated Converters (AICC) has joined Two Sides North America (TSNA), a non-profit organization advocating for the sustainable attributes of paper and products that use it.
AICC is a manufacturing association for independent corrugated, folding carton and rigid box manufacturers and their suppliers. With members worldwide, it often brands itself as ‘The Independent Packaging Association.’
“Our members are proud to print on and convert the most sustainable packaging material on the planet,” says AICC’s president, Michael M. D’Angelo. “The messaging, materials and advocacy that Two Sides provides play a valuable role in educating and informing players in the marketplace.”
As part of the new partnership, TSNA executive director Jules Van Sant will speak at AICC’s annual spring meeting next month in Carlsbad, Calif. She will provide an update on greenwashing and sustainability as they relate to the packaging industry.
“By joining forces with AICC, we are ideally positioned to further support businesses and inform the public about the value of paper-based packaging across a wide range of industries,” she says.
