CATL becomes largest player in heavy-duty truck battery swapping

CATL is acquiring a stake of just under 25 per cent in Qiyuan Green Power, China’s largest operator of battery-swapping stations for heavy-duty trucks. The investment brings two different truck battery-swapping technologies under the CATL umbrella: its own Qiji system and Qiyuan Green Power’s rear-mounted solution.
