Schools Contribution to Sustainability Practices is the key

emission when Children and Teachers travel to School and back - Conserve power
from the building construction stage itself with regards to Lighting,
Ventilation etc., Minimize Power usage in all respects explore all
possibilities of natural light and air. Practice renewable energy at all
possible places - Ensure Water
usage is well monitored and prevent wastage - Utilize unused
notebooks, pencils, pens etc - Encourage,
kids Walking to School and may be some senior or a teacher can volunteer to
walk them back and forth. Walking bus… - encourage
cycling wherever possible… - encouraging
parents to Car pool - Adhere that
all school buses have strict emission norms and honk only when absolutely
required - Make it a
point to teach and discuss sustainability, its importance and ensure it is made
as a thrust area
