A Co–Py-COF is successfully constructed by anchoring single-atom Co2+ in one-dimensional COFs with imine–pyridine chelation, which regulates photogenerated charge transfer and CO2 activation, achieving enhanced photocatalytic CO2-to-CO conversion.
