A rationally designed In-doped CeO2 is in situ synthesized on carbon paper for highly selective urea electrosynthesis and the best one achieves a urea yield rate of 11.03 mg min−1 g−1 with a faradaic efficiency of 60.5% at −0.45 V vs. RHE.
