Lambeth Climate Day will return to Lambeth Town Hall on Saturday 3 October, bringing residents, community groups and environmental organisations together for a morning of climate-focused activities.
The event, organised by Repair Café Lambeth, will run from 10am to 1pm and feature local environmental groups, practical workshops and projects aimed at helping residents cut waste and live more sustainably.
A key feature will be a hands-on repair session, where residents can bring broken household items and work alongside volunteer fixers to repair them and learn new skills.
The event will also showcase local net zero initiatives and give residents the chance to hear from organisations working on climate and sustainability issues across the borough.
Now in its third year, the event attracted 450 people in 2025, with dozens of funders and local environmental groups taking part over the previous two years.
The day will include workshops covering subjects including repairing and upcycling clothes, reducing plastic packaging and using open repair data to support sustainability.
Olga Osuch, manager of Repair Café Lambeth, said: ‘Lambeth Climate Day is a chance to see what’s possible when a community pulls together – sharing skills and ideas, reducing waste and backing the people already doing the work. In 2025 we gathered 450 people, and the Driving Net Zero Innovation pitch competition was won by a local charity, Solve the School Run.”

Organisers said this year’s event would provide opportunities for residents of all ages and backgrounds to learn more about climate action and meet people working on environmental projects locally.
