EVSE manufacturer Lincoln Electric has earned product-level certification under the National Electrical Manufacturers Association’s (NEMA) Make It American program.
Contractors, government agencies, fleet operators and other EVSE buyers want to buy (and in many cases, are legally required to buy) hardware that contains a specified proportion of US domestic content. But how can they prove that the products they’re buying really contain the proportion of domestic content that manufacturers advertise? NEMA’s Make It American program provides an independent framework for validating domestic manufacturing and content requirements.
Lincoln’s Velion DC Fast Chargers are manufactured in the US with more than 70% domestic content. This not only supports compliance requirements for federally funded projects, it also helps customers reduce supply chain risk, and gives them greater confidence in the security and availability of their EV charging infrastructure, the company explains.
