MPSEZ Utilities Limited (MUL) has petitioned the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission to lower its Renewable Purchase Obligation (RPO) target for 2024-25 after achieving only 15.39 percent compliance against a 29.91 percent target. Delays in a major wind-solar project and lower generation from another source contributed to this shortfall, alongside limited renewable options in Gujarat.
