We are pleased to announce Samuel Kendall Associates has received the commission for the sustainable home retrofit and extension of a garden-city family home in the village of Walkington, East Yorkshire.
Our project aims to achieve a healthy home with a strong relationship to its richly planted garden, a house which maximises the use of renewables & passive solar design principles to achieve the lowest possible running costs & a highly sustainable house which prolongs the lifespan & preserves the embodied carbon of a family home built in the 1950’s, enhancing its capacity for family life.
