Nokian Tyres has launched its next-generation of smart tire technology featuring a smart pressure assistant with load sensing, the Nokian Tyres Intuitu 2.0. The innovation has been developed for the company’s Soil King VF tractor tires and aims to help agricultural professionals maximize productivity, reduce fuel consumption, protect soil and extend tire life.
Correct tire pressures minimize soil compaction. Nokian Tyres’ Intuitu 2.0 Smart Pressure Assistant uses built-in sensors inside the tires to calculate the tractor’s actual operating weight and operating conditions. Based on this data, it provides tire pressure recommendations directly to the user via a mobile application.
