Pilot Phaenix® on its way to Delfzijl

Last week, our pilot installation arrived in Delfzijl, where it will be installed at the Chemport Innovation Center.

Over the coming years, this pilot will produce hashtag#PHA-rich biomass, providing the feedstock for our Caleyda® extraction pilot in Emmen. This will enable us to generate the material needed for extensive application development, product validation, and quality testing as we continue bringing sustainable PHA solutions to market.

This installation represents a crucial step in our scale-up roadmap. By integrating production and extraction at a pilot scale, we can accelerate the development of new applications for Caleyda® together with our partners.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this milestone possible. We look forward to seeing the pilot come to life in Delfzijl and to taking the next steps toward a circular future built on biobased and biodegradable materials.
