The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has issued an Expression of Interest for evaluating geothermal energy project feasibility in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. This initiative aims to attract organizations with technical and commercial expertise to support India’s renewable energy diversification and Net Zero goals by 2070, with projects expected to be developed in two phases.
