SP’s fourth quarterly membership meeting of 2026 took place October 27–28 at The Center – The Heritage Group in Indianapolis, Indiana. Hosted by Envita Solutions, the members only event brought together representatives from the automotive value chain to share sustainability practices, explore opportunities for collaborative action, and help shape SP’s next five-year strategy.
October 27 – Strategic Planning Workshop & Networking
Pre-event activities began with a strategic planning workshop focused on translating SP’s next five-year strategy into measurable work group targets and indicators of progress.
Facilitated by Kevin Butt and Priscillia Stuart (KB Advisors), the workshop included breakout discussions across SP’s carbon neutrality, circular economy, and nature and water stewardship pillars. Members explored priorities, opportunities for collaboration, and potential measures of success. Feedback from the session will inform new goals linked to SP’s next strategy.
The afternoon concluded with a networking reception at The Center, providing an opportunity for attendees to connect ahead of the membership meeting.

Mary Kate Francis (Trio) provided an overview of renewable energy sourcing resources available through Transform: Auto and a new decarbonization strategy cohort launching in early 2027.
The morning also included the presentation of SP’s annual Environmental Leadership Awards, recognizing sustainability successes across the automotive value chain, including awardees Visscher-Caravelle, Hankook Tire, The Pasha Group, Chad Pregracke and Alyssa Barbuto.
