As part of the University’s of Pittsburgh’s first observance of One Health Day, the Schools of Health Sciences awarded financial awards student sustainability research and for the Sustainable Healthcare Challenge, focused on promoting environmental, economic, and social sustainability in healthcare.
Sustainable Healthcare Challenge Winners
Each project received $40,000 in funding and 1 year of project manager support from Pitt’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) to implement their idea. Funding was provided by CTSI, the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation, and the School of Medicine.
