Ionomr is pleased to share the latest publication from Siemens Energy on hydrogen transport through an Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) hashtag#electrolyzer using Aemion®. Intermittent operation is key to leveraging low-cost renewable electricity to achieve a breakthrough in the cost of green hydrogen production, addressing a major challenge faced by legacy alkaline electrolyzers. This work showcases how Ionomr’s AEMs can enable a wide operational range for electrolyzers while maintaining hydrogen crossover within design targets. Ionomr looks forward to continued collaboration with Siemens Energy and others to enable abundant, low-cost green hydrogen.
