VMI has opened a new service facility in León, Mexico, expanding its global presence and strengthening local support for its growing installed base of tire manufacturing equipment.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Alejandro Hernández Fonseca, undersecretary of investment and promotion, state of Guanajuato, and Harm Voortman, CEO of VMI Group, alongside other official representatives; witnessed by customers and the local VMI team; and followed by the planting of a tree to symbolize VMI’s commitment to sustainability. The company has recently achieved EcoVadis Platinum status, and the new facility in León has been designed according to the highest standards of sustainability, including waste management and energy use.
