Join us at The University of Strathclyde for an exciting pitch and networking event. Innovative cleantech startups will pitch their ideas to the CGF investment team (behind closed doors) in the day and in the evening, the wider ecosystem comes together to network, learn about cutting-edge sustainable technologies, and discover new investment opportunities.

Tuesday 09 September – 09:30 – 17:00 
Early-stage innovators with a disruptive climate technology focused on reducing carbon are invited to pitch following a successful application. We’ve received a large number of applications and are very excited to be meeting with companies such as Ilosta LtdForge Minerals and Kenoteq to name just a few. Tuesday 09 September – 17:00 – 19:30 
The wider cleantech community, local authorities, investors, innovators, accelerators, corporates, those embedded in the netzero space are invited to attend our EVENING DRINKS RECEPTION. All are welcome to attend but places are limited so please secure your ticket early.

The evening reception will be opened by Cllr Richard Bell, Convenor of Strathclyde Pension Fund and Deputy Leader of Glasgow City Council.

Clean Growth Fund invests across the UK in early-stage cleantech innovators that have the potential to greatly reduce greenhouse gas emissions across: water, waste, power, transport, industry, buildings and agrifood. Since the fund’s inception in 2020, it has made 19 investments. The investment team is on a mission to meet as many cleantech pioneers as it can, which is why we run the Clean Growth Fund Regional Roadshows and are coming to Scotland.

Pitching sessions – Pitching sessions are not for general viewing – these are only for those who have been confirmed to pitch and offered a dedicated timeslot. 

Drinks reception – all are welcome to attend for drinks and bites 17:00 – 19:30Please register for a ticket.

Venue – The University of Strathclyde is actively engaged with climate change through its “Sustainable Strathclyde” initiative, which includes a comprehensive Climate Change and Social Responsibility Plan. The university also conducts research in climate change and energy, collaborates with international partners, and participates in initiatives like COP26. The venue is a short walk from both Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central train stations.
