The research group led by CIC biomaGUNE’s Ikerbasque Research Professor Aitziber L. Cortajarena has developed an innovative anti-fibrotic and anti-tumor treatment by binding a synthetic protein to gold nanoclusters (small aggregates of approximately 6 atoms of gold).
