Cascades has promoted François Fillion from vice-president (VP) of finance for the packaging sector to VP of excellence. He succeeds Emmanuelle Migneault, who was recently appointed chief human resources (HR) officer.
Fillion earned his BCom with a major in accounting from McGill University and a graduate degree in accounting from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He joined Cascades in 2009 as a financial analyst.
Since then, he has held a number of key positions, including director of accounting and consolidation, corporate controller and VP of finance for corporate operations and the tissue sector.
