In an average month, I meet probably five people who traveled here from another country. Unless there is a good reason to avoid the topic, I like to ask how Trump is regarded at home.
Universally, the answer is that Trump is a despicable joke. I use the word “universally” in the literal sense; I’ve yet to speak with someone who has anything good to say about the current U.S. president.
