A PPCC member farm had 4.7 hectares of steep, slipping ground that needed sorting, the kind of job that is easy to let slide down the to-do list. Using the CarbonCrop platform, PPCC mapped a planting plan, brought in Horizons land management advisor Courtney Skou to check it, and helped get 267 poles in the ground over the school holidays. It is a test case, and PPCC is now planning similar conversations with more farmers this spring and summer.
