Kumho Tire US has expanded its original equipment partnerships and now supplies tires for more than 40 vehicle platforms across nine automotive brands in North America. These include Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Audi and Volkswagen, reflecting the company’s growing presence in the OE market.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 Waymo fleet
Kumho Tire US has been selected as the exclusive OE tire supplier for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 vehicles joining Waymo’s next-generation robotaxi fleet in the USA. The Kumho Crugen EV HP71 was chosen to meet the demands of high-use autonomous fleets – where durability, efficiency and ride comfort are key – while also addressing the specific performance requirements of electric vehicles.
