We developed a green and efficient method to synthesize bio-based flexible diacid, tetrahydrofuran-2,5-dicarboxylic acid (THFDCA) that can replace petroleum-based 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid (CHDA) due to their structural similarity.
