There’s still one day left of action at the North American Manure Expo.
Tomorrow, July 30, is the last day of the Expo, held at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Wayne, NE. This year marks the Expo’s return to Nebraska for the first time since 2011, when the Expo was held in Norfolk, NE.
The Expo offers a variety of on- and off-site activities, so attendees are encouraged to consult the Expo show guide*, the new app or simply read below for info on the final day of Expo action.

Day three
Day three opens once again at 7:30, when pre-registered attendees and walk-ups can enter the grounds and get to networking at the trade show right away. Booths often include equipment on display in-person, allowing for deeper questions and thorough responses from brand and dealership reps, up-close examinations and even photo ops.
At 9:00, solid manure demonstrations begin, allowing fans to witness and compare various solid spreaders. Following the demonstrations, the morning will continue on to more educational sessions, which run in tandem in three different venues at the fairgrounds. Topics on day two include soil health, dynamic manure crediting and more. Unlike July 29, which saw education sessions split into a morning block and an afternoon block, attendees can go straight from one session to another from 10:30, all the way to 2:30 p.m.
Following the conclusion of the educational sessions, one of the Expo’s newer – and most popular – traditions will take place: the hose break. Although the hose break’s explosive nature can be entertaining in nature, the Expo offers the hose break as part of its commitment to promoting safety in manure handling; the high-PSI hose break is meant to demonstrate the damage that can be done to humans, livestock and equipment.
The hose break is followed by the spill prevention and response demonstration to promote culvert and road safety, after which the Expo grounds officially close.
Expo fans are also encouraged to collect their T-shirts – a limited number of T-shirts will be available for free to the earliest Expo explorers, but for the unlucky, T-shirts will also be available for purchase. The iconic T-shirts contain this year’s top-10 “rejected” Manure Expo slogans – which ensure each Expo T-shirt is unique, year after year.
The North American Manure Expo will cross back into Canada once again for 2027, held just outside of Guelph, ON.
