
This week French startup Spore.Bio raised a $23 million Series A to expand its rapid, on-site microbiology testing capabilities, Spain’s Imperia raised $10.5 million to expand its supply chain management SaaS platform across Europe, and Hamburg-based Kynda secured $3.2 million to convert ag by-products into mycoprotein for food and feed.
Elsewhere, UK-based meal prep platform Remy acquired food-waste app Kitch and Israel’s Ever After Foods teamed up with Swiss biomanufacturing specialist Bühler Group to help producers scale cultivated meat production.
