The RSB Annual Conference 2025 will bring together leaders and innovators to confront the failures of Plan A and accelerate action toward credible sustainability solutions. From feedstock futures and impact claims to power-to-X, policy innovation, and new market tools, the agenda reflects the breadth of the RSB community.

A key focus this year is book and claim’ – RSB’s trusted system for enabling traceable, verifiable decarbonisation across global value chains. Book and claim will feature throughout the three-day agenda: as a full-day track of interactive sessions, and as a flagship showcase exploring its application in hard-to-abate sectors.

TUESDAY, 9 DECEMBER – COLLABORATION DAY

📍 International Environment House II, Geneva

Collaboration Day is designed for technical exchange and practical co-creation. Multiple thematic streams, including on book and claim, will run in parallel, giving participants the opportunity to test ideas, align approaches, and build tools together.

  • Book & Claim Track: From introductory sessions to advanced applications in maritime, aviation, and heavy industry, these workshops focus on how to expand traceability and credibility across hard-to-abate sectors.
  • Other tracks include:
    • Feedstock futures and risk assessments
    • Plastic Reboot: Circular economy solutions in practice
    • The RSB GHG Tool and scenario modelling
    • Sustainable transition projects
    • Exploring ILUC risks
    • Closed-door meetings for Delegates and Certification Bodies
  • Evening highlight: The RSB Transition Leaders’ Awards Gala Dinner, sponsored by Airbus, celebrating the individuals and organisations who are already building Plan B in practice. Nominate a leader or project for the Awards.

WEDNESDAY, 10 DECEMBER – FLAGSHIP DAY

📍 International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG)

Flagship Day puts the conference theme at centre stage: What does credible action look like now, and how do we execute Plan B with urgency and impact?

  • Book & Claim Showcase (15:15–17:00)
Discover how the RSB Book & Claim System is enabling decarbonisation in shipping, chemicals, and steel. Learn how traceability and verified impact can connect sustainable producers with global value chains and unlock credible investment.
  • The Flagship Day agenda also includes:
    • Keynotes and roundtables with sustainability leaders
    • Sector showcases and panel discussions on emerging solutions
    • Deep dives into SAF, chemicals, certification, traceability, and impact claims
    • Momentum for Power-to-X and regional feedstock innovation
    • The Transition Leaders’ Awards Winners’ Panel, moderated by Airbus

THURSDAY, 11 DECEMBER – ASSEMBLY OF DELEGATES

📍 International Environment House II, Geneva
Members only

The Assembly of Delegates is RSB’s highest decision-making forum, where members from across stakeholder groups shape the organisation’s future through consensus-based governance. A formal agenda will be shared directly with members.

While the formal agenda will be shared directly with members, this year’s Assembly of Delegates will be particularly important for ensuring that RSB’s standards and tools – including book and claim – remain powerful, trusted mechanisms to deliver credible impact at scale.
