Vogelsang, a global force in agriculture, manure handling, and biogas, entered the screw press separator market in 2021 across Europe with the launch of XSplit. XSplit has since been launched in North America at the end of ’23 and has been sold and supported by industry partner SkinnerAg Solutions.
With separators being a mature technology space, Vogelsang was able to design XSPlit, knowing what customers were missing, which included easier plug formation, a smaller footprint, protection against seal failure, and overall easier and faster service procedures. All this, while still providing dry matter content up to 40% for bedding (though it has adjustable output settings).

- Incorporates a high-quality elastomer sealing disc at the end of the pressing area to achieve a dry matter content of up to 40 percent.
- The positioning of the gear reducer behind the solid matter outlet, thereby eliminating the need for an additional shaft seal. This design ensures liquid manure cannot come into contact with the motor, gear reduction, seals, or bearings.
- Various sieve variants are also available to suit different media and consistencies, guaranteeing reliable separation results.
